When you create a FlowSpaceFocus account and use the app, we collect:
We use this information to run the core product: to authenticate you, to power your focus sessions and Owliva's coaching, to track your progress and session history so you can see your own patterns, to bill your subscription correctly, and to email you about your account (like trial and billing notices). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
If you subscribe to our newsletter — from the blog or elsewhere on the site — we collect the email address you provide and, if you give one, your first name. We may also record the form or article you signed up from, so we know what content led to the subscription.
We use this information to manage your subscription and to send you the welcome email, new blog posts, and other newsletter content you've asked to receive. Our email provider, Brevo, delivers these emails on our behalf (see the Third-Party Services section below).
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every newsletter email. Unsubscribing only opts you out of marketing emails — it does not cancel a FlowSpaceFocus account or stop the account, security, trial, or billing notices we're required to send.
We keep your newsletter subscription record until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, except where we're required to retain it for legal reasons. We do not sell your email address or other subscriber information.
FlowSpaceFocus is built on top of a small number of third-party services, each of which processes a specific slice of your data under its own privacy policy:
We keep your account and session data for as long as your account is active, so your session history and focus insights stay available to you. We do not currently store the full text of your Owliva conversations in our own database — each conversation is sent to Anthropic to generate a reply and is not retained by us beyond that request, though the session metadata (your goal, duration, and completion status) is saved to your account as described above.
When you request deletion of your account (see below), we delete your account and session data from our systems within 30 days, except where we're required to keep billing records for legal or tax purposes.
FlowSpaceFocus doesn't yet have a self-service "delete my account" button. To delete your account and associated data, email us at emy@flowspacefocus.com from the address on your account and we'll cancel any active subscription and remove your data within 30 days.
We use cookies and similar local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the app is used. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies from the banner shown on your first visit; declining doesn't affect your ability to use the app.
We rely on our infrastructure providers' security practices (Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payments, our hosting provider for the app itself) and follow reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
FlowSpaceFocus is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
